Shopify alternative

The Shopify alternative for brands that buy their traffic

A store theme is built for browsing. Your ads need one offer, a checkout built for that offer and an upsell after the payment. Funnelish runs that whole path on your domain and gateways, sends every order to your 3PL, and takes 0% of your revenue.

Why brands search

What you are really looking for

Most brands searching for a Shopify alternative are happy with Shopify as a store. They have outgrown it as the place their ads land.

  • “One checkout for every product is costing me sales.”

A single shared checkout cannot adapt to the offer. You want a different checkout for each product and offer, with its own fields, bumps and layout, and on Shopify even one custom checkout means Plus.

    Checkout control, compared
  • “My fees and app bills grow with every order.”

A third-party gateway fee on top of processing, then an app for upsells, one for subscriptions and one for bundles.

    What you pay here
  • “I want to own the path from ad to order.”

A page per ad angle, your domain, your gateways and your customer data, with no theme between the ad and the checkout.

  2. Buyers taking a one-click upsell and the lift in average order value across all buyers, the top 10% of brands by revenue, two years to November 5, 2026; the top tenth and top quarter rank those brands within the market, and the last figure is across every buyer in the market.
  3. Card checkout sessions that ended paid, the top 10% of brands by revenue, two years to November 5, 2026.
  4. Not published for Mexico: local bank and wallet redirects run through the card gateway there, so a card figure cannot be separated.

Fees

Shopify transaction fees, and what you pay here

The fees that grow with your sales are the ones worth checking first. Here is each one, side by side.

On Shopify

Third-party gateway fee
2%, 1%, 0.6% or 0.2% of each order, depending on your plan, on top of your gateway’s processing. No Shopify transaction fee when you use Shopify Payments.
Checkout control
Shopify Plus, from $2,300 a month, and still one checkout shared by every product.
Upsells, subscriptions, bundles
One app each, each billed monthly, some priced on a share of your orders.

On Funnelish

0%

of your revenue, on every plan, at any ad spend

Any MID
Your PSPs and merchant accounts at their own rates, with no surcharge from us. A MID we have not connected yet? Say so on your onboarding call and we connect it, through a PSP you already run or by building it for you, fast.
Unlimited checkouts, bumps and upsells
On every plan, on your own domain, one checkout per offer if you like. No app bills for them.
Optional, with the reason
Smart payment routing, up to 0.3% per routed transaction, pays for the card vault that works across your gateways. Gateway-agnostic subscriptions managed by Funnelish, up to 0.5% per transaction, pay for the billing engine. Subscriptions held by your own gateway: no Funnelish fee.

Keeping Shopify as the back office? Orders paid through your Funnelish checkout don’t go through Shopify’s checkout, so Shopify’s third-party transaction fee doesn’t apply to them.

FAQ

Shopify alternatives, answered

Is Funnelish a Shopify alternative?

Yes, for brands that grow with paid ads. Funnelish runs the path a paid click takes: funnel pages, a checkout on your own domain, order bumps, one-click upsells, subscriptions, customer portals and payments on your own gateways, with orders sent to ShipBob, ShipStation, AfterShip or Google Sheets. It takes 0% of your revenue. Browsable Funnelish stores are coming soon, so a brand that needs a catalogue storefront today keeps Shopify as the back office and runs its paid traffic on Funnelish.

Three ways brands use Funnelish
Is Funnelish a Shopify Plus alternative?

For the checkout, yes. On Shopify, changing the information, shipping and payment steps of checkout needs Shopify Plus, from $2,300 a month. Every Funnelish plan includes unlimited checkouts on your own domain, one per product or offer if you like, each with its own fields, layout, order bumps and one-click upsells, with or without Shopify. If you rely on Plus for more than the checkout, keep it for that part and run your paid traffic through Funnelish.

Bumps, upsells and the checkout
How many checkouts can I build on Funnelish?

As many as you have offers. Shopify gives every product the same shared checkout, so a $19 impulse buy and a $300 bundle go through identical steps. On Funnelish each product, offer and ad angle can have its own checkout: its own fields, layout, order bumps, trust elements and payment methods, built in the page builder and split-tested like any other page. A checkout shaped around one offer carries a higher order value than one shared by all of them, and leaves the conversion rate to the quality of your offer rather than to a layout you cannot change.

How Funnelish raises AOV
Do I lose my storefront if I leave Shopify?

Only if you want to. Browsable Funnelish stores are coming soon. Until then you have two good options: keep Shopify as your store and back office with every Funnelish order synced to it, or run standalone on funnels, which suits brands whose sales come from ads to a few hero offers.

Funnelish stores
What happens to my orders and fulfilment?

Run standalone and Funnelish sends every paid order, bumps and upsells included, to ShipBob, ShipStation, AfterShip or Google Sheets. Keep Shopify and each order syncs to your store as one paid order with stock updated, so your team ships exactly as it does today.

Orders and fulfilment
Can I keep my domain?

Yes. Funnel pages and checkout run on your own domain, for example try.yourbrand.com and checkout.yourbrand.com, so buyers never leave your brand to pay and your UTMs stay on every order. If Shopify keeps your main domain, Funnelish runs on a subdomain next to it.

What about my Shopify apps?

Most of the jobs those apps do are built into Funnelish: pages, order bumps, one-click upsells, subscriptions, customer portals, A/B tests and analytics. For the rest, connect the tools you already use, such as Klaviyo for email and Meta browser and server events for tracking.

Every integration
How much does Funnelish cost?

Plans start at $49 a month and Funnelish takes 0% of your revenue on every plan, at any ad spend. Two optional features carry a usage fee because we run infrastructure on every payment: smart payment routing, up to 0.3% per routed transaction, and gateway-agnostic subscriptions managed by Funnelish, up to 0.5% per transaction. Subscriptions held by your own gateway carry no Funnelish fee. Every plan starts with a 14-day free trial.

See plans
How long does migration take?

Your first funnel can be live in an afternoon. The full move depends on how many funnels, products and subscribers you bring, and our team plans it with you for free. Your current store keeps selling until you switch, and the 14-day trial lets you test on your real offer first.
